5 — Preston Brown, Louisville

Brown provides the Bears with some insurance at the position in the middle rounds.  It’s difficult to predict where exactly Brown will be drafted, but his knack for finding the football is something that will stand out with teams keeping a close eye on him.  He’s definitely not an immediate starter for the Bears, but can bring the energy and playmaking abilities they need on special teams right now with the potential of cracking the starting lineup if need be.  Brown would be more of a developmental pick should the Bears choose him.
