5 — Terrence Brooks, Florida State

Brooks is a good talent in his own right, but he represents a huge dropoff at the position once Bucannon is drafted.  He’s got comparable size and speed to Ward, but unlike the previous four players, he will require a lot more teaching and coaching at the professional level.  His toughness though is unmatched and is something that cannot be taught.  Brooks does not possess great ball hawking skills, but he makes up for that with great range and fluidity.  He would likely be a third round target for the Bears should they address their needs on the defensive line in the first two rounds.
