The NFL draft will be here before we know it.  Now that Free Agency has settled down, team needs have come into focus.  That could mean only one thing – it’s time for another mock draft!  But rather than us sitting back and throwing darts at the wall, we thought we’d let you join in the fun.  We’ll roll through the draft order and give each team choices based on team needs and the best players available and you’ll vote on the picks for each team. On with the countdown…

15. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8)

Last season couldn’t have started any worse for Mike Tomlin’s crew as they got off to their worst start since 1934, going 0-4. It didn’t help losing some key players to injury right away which included Center Maurkice Pouncey, Linebacker Larry Foote and RB Larod Stephens-Howling. They were already down their starting running back, rookie Le’vaon Bell, to injury and there were rumors of Big Ben wanting out of Pittsburgh. However, the Steelers were able to fight through this whole mess and found themselves sitting at 8-8 with only a Ryan Succop field goal conversion standing in their way of a playoff birth. Unfortunately, the refs blew a call that would have moved the Chiefs closer, Succop missed the field goal and the Steelers missed the playoffs. Considering all of the tough breaks, rumors, etc. the Steelers had a lot of positives to build off of heading into next year. However, I think it’s safe to say that no one will be buying the refs, Succop and the Chiefs any cocktails in Pittsburgh any time soon.
