5) Jalen Saunders, Oklahoma

Saunders is another player who could fit the Bears’ needs in the slot and in the kick return game.  He’s listed at 5-9, 165 but has fantastic speed and is a home run just waiting to happen.  He’s not a huge deep ball threat but has the toughness to break tackles and the agility to avoid them.  Saunders tallied 61 catches for 729 yards and eight touchdowns last season at Oklahoma and was consistent throughout his college career.  He’s a late-round target and would be a fantastic project for Trestman and the Bears’ coaching staff to take on for next season.
