The opponents have been known for some time, but there’s something special about putting them in order, seeing which games are in prime time and getting a rhythm to the season. Travel plans can be made, excuses to miss work or skip out on helping out in the kitchen on Thanksgiving are formulated.
The Bears will play in prime time five times and will also get a national game when they visit the Lions on Thanksgiving for the first time since 1999. In fact, they’ll play two consecutive Thursday games. I don’t know if that’s ever happened before.
