2. Week 10 @ Green Bay Packers

All Bears vs Packers game have a big significance, but this one is particularly important.  The Bears will be coming off their bye week and should be well rested for a tough road test to start the second half of their season.  It’s one of only three road games the Bears will play in the second half of the season and the first of five second half divisional games.  A road win against their arch rival would send a message to the rest of the division.

1. Week 3 @ New York Jets

I know it’s odd to pick an early season, non-conference game as the most important of the season, but consider the circumstances.  The Jets posted an 8-8 record in 2013, so you figure this should be a winnable game, but they were 6-2 at home last season. This marks the second of back-to-back road games as the Bears will be traveling coast to coast for consecutive prime time games. While it’d be nice to expect a win the week before in San Fran, but if we’re keeping it real, the Bears likely will be coming off a loss.   You don’t want to lose two games in a row and must avoid a skid, with this game sandwiched between three games against 2013 playoff teams.
