As April comes to a close, the interwebs have Mock Draft Fever.  Everyone and their brother has a mock draft.  Walter Football has a complete database of mock drafts, so I decided to peruse the recent mocks and see who the draft experts have the Bears tabbed as taking.

I reviewed no less than 50 mock drafts and there is clearly a consensus selection, defensive tackle Aaron Donald from Pitt.  He was selected in nearly half of the mocks I reviewed.  Here’s a full breakdown:

Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt – selected in 21 mocks

Calvin Pryon, S, Louisville – selected in 6 mocks

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama – selected in 6 mocks

Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State – selected in 5 mocks

Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State – selected in 4 mocks

Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State – selected in 2 mocks

Stephen Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame – selected in 1 mock

Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame – selected in 1 mock

CJ Mosley, ILB, Alabama – selected in 1 mock

Ra’Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota – selected in 1 mock

Jimmy Ward, S, Northern Illinois – selected in 1 mock (after trade)

Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech – selected in 1 mock
