The Broncos made some potentially huge splashes in free agency this year but they also lost some big names. The loss of Eric Decker isn’t too significant considering the Broncos are still stacked with wide receivers. As for losing Moreno, Peyton Manning has made some average at best running backs successful before. They can pick one up in the third round. I never think drafting an offensive lineman early is a bad idea, and the Broncos could use a guard. However, I think the Broncos need to mostly be concerned about their shaky defensive unit.

Cornerback- Without Champ Bailey and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, the Broncos are thin at the corner position. That’s a hole that can be filled with a first round pick.

Defensive End- They need someone solid to complement an aging DeMarcus Ware, not to mention one who can take over for him, seeing as he’s on the wrong side of 30.

Defensive Tackle- The Broncos are also thin at this position, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them pick up a guy who can consistently get after the quarterback.

Guard- It’s always vital to protect Payton Manning as well as possible. Who knows how long that neg will hold up?
