Final 53-man Roster Projection

Cutler, Clausen, Fales

Cutler is a lock.  I think that Clausen will beat out Jordan Palmer in an interesting camp battle, where they’ll get plenty of reps in the preseason games.  He’s known as kind of an a-hole, so he should get along terrifically with Cutler.  I think Fales shows enough in the preseason that the Bears elect to give Fales a roster spot rather than risk putting him on the practice squad.

Final Word

Let’s face it, this season will go the way Jay Cutler goes.  If Cutler can stay healthy and continue his development under Marc Trestman, the sky is the limit for him and for the Chicago Bears offense.
