We had so much fun doing our Countdown to Kickoff series last season that we decided to do it again.  In case you’re new to the series, we’ll do a roster preview as we count down the days until the Chicago Bears September 7th season opener against the Buffalo Bills.

35 More days. I’m starting to salivate. I feel like a 19 year-old going to spring break with a solid fake ID and a box of condoms.

This guy, Senorise Perry, came to tryout for the Bears at our rookie mini camp and they like what he brought as a back. At least enough to sign him up to compete for a spot on the roster. He’s one of those all-around running backs that can really benefit from Marc Trestman’s offense. Or I should I say Jay Cutler’s offense?

Not just yet.

More from Chicago Bears News

Bears fans have to be excited. We have so much depth all-around, except at long snapper (don’t laugh.) They’re important, when you get a good one, you keep them for 16 years.

Marc will have his pick of the litter to build a championship team. He knows how to do it. He did it up in Canada.

Now lets see if he can do it with guys that don’t have beady little eyes and flapping heads.

I do hope Senorise Perry makes the team, because I’ve got a nickname already picked out for him……….

“Mini-Fridge.”

Get it?
