Today was a very physical practice today for the Chicago Bears, but the worst part of the practice is the news that Bears wide receiver Marquess Wilson was carted off the field with a broken clavicle.
Wilson was slotted as the Bears third receiver which is an impact spot in Marc Trestman’s offense and will be a difficult loss for the Bears offense to quickly recover from. Of course the name Earl Bennett is the first named whispered as soon as the news broke, but when you think about how quickly the Cleveland Browns dropped him he might not be the best option.
The practice was a brutal one today with Lance Briggs getting dinged up with a knee bruise and Trestman ending practice early when Kyle Fuller close lined Martellus Bennett and Bennett responded by body slamming Fuller to the ground. None of this is that concerning when comparing it to the Wilson injury.

There has been no immediate timetable for Wilson to return back to the Bears with this being a long recovery time injury although probably not a season ending one.
How bad do you think the Wilson injury is to the Bears and their offense?
