In other offensive line injury news, right tackle Jordan Mills, who missed Friday night’s exhibition opener with a sore left foot, was spotted around camp in a walking boot on Sunday.

It’s certainly a concern if Mills suffered any setbacks to his surgically repaired foot.  He started all 16 games as a rookie in 2013.  His best buddy and linemate Kyle Long has missed a bunch of practice with a viral infection and then missed Friday night’s game with a sore ankle.

The resurgence of the offensive line was a big key to the offense’s success in 2013.  With at least two of the top seven projected offensive linemen looking to miss more time in the preseason, it could pose a setback for the entire offense.  The injuries open the door for guys like Michael Ola and James Brown to try to put together some good tape and impress the coaching staff.
