Training Camp Invites

RB Senorise Perry – I’ve been singing Perry’s praises to everyone that will listen since the Bears signed him before training camp. I feel pretty good after Perry’s performance Thursday night. Perry put the Bears on his back in their game winning drive. His signature play was a 22 yard reception which included running through three arm tackles and a sweet spin move that broke another one. On the day Perry had 30 yards receiving and 4 carries for 13 yards, one of which was the game winning 5-yard run highlighting his agility and burst. Perry also made a great catch on a low pass from Palmer on the game-winning drive and had the awareness to sprint straight out of bounds. I hope Perry gets at least a series in game 3 because I still think we haven’t seen the best he can offer.

CB Al Louis-Jean – He didn’t make as many plays in week 2, but in only 17 snaps made 3 tackles including 1 for a loss and held his own in coverage. He is young (20) and raw (9 games in college) but the talent is there.

OL Michael Ola – He wasn’t terrible, but after playing so well in week 1 Ola lost some momentum in week 2 with a hands to the face penalty and no push in the run game.

FS Marcus Trice – Has played both free and strong safety in limited snaps the last two weeks but he made the most of his time against the Jags with 2 tackles on 10 snaps. Trice is probably a practice squad guy, but is an interesting player who can really hit.

LS Chad Rempel – I didn’t see Rempel on the field, but didn’t see any bad snaps either so I’m assuming he did alright.

CB Derricus Purdy – Only played one snap. With how well the rest of the bubble DBs are playing I think this may be the last week Purdy is on this list. Best of luck!
