1. Jim Schwartz vs Jay Cutler

Former Lions head coach Jim Schwartz is the Bills’ defensive coordinator.  He’s often had his way with the Bears.  He steps into a situation in Buffalo that was very similar to the one he had with the Lions.  They have a stout defensive line that led the league in sacks in 2013.  That plays really well to Schwartz’s strength to get after the quarterback.

The quarterback in this instance is Jay Cutler.  Cutler has had as good a training camp and preseason as I can remember with the Bears.  He’s looked sharp and decisive and just plain comfortable.  He’s in the second year of Marc Trestman’s system and is poised to have a breakout season.  Jim Schwartz will try to harass Cutler into mistakes and make him uncomfortable.
