The Chicago Bears defense suffered what could be a major setback on Sunday Night, as starting cornerback Charles Tillman suffered a triceps injury and has been ruled out for the rest of the game. After Tillman left the game, he was seen tearing up on the sidelines and consoled by longtime teammates Lance Briggs and Roberto Garza.

Tillman suffered a torn triceps that ended his season last year in Week 7 against the Washington Redskins. If he suffered the same injury this season, it could be not only a season-ending injury, it could be a career ending injury. Tillman is in his 12th season with the Bears and has had injuries slow him down over the last couple of seasons.
The Bears drafted cornerback Kyle Fuller in the first round of the 2014 draft, much to the chagrin of many Bears fans. They all wanted a safety. If Tillman is done for the season, Fuller will be expected to step into the starting lineup. He had been playing on the outside with Tim Jennings sliding inside to the cover the slot receivers in nickel situations.
Tillman had an interception, which would have been his 37th of his career, overturned by replay. If Tillman is done, he will end his career as the best cornerback in Chicago Bears history. He was awarded the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in recognition for his off-the-field excellence and work in the community.
