I do not see the Bears going into San Francisco and upsetting the 49ers. I see my stomach being upset from drinking too much kool aid this offseason and the 49ers winning big. Please Bears, prove me wrong. Prove me wrong.

The Bears simply do not stand a chance agaisnt the 49ers on Sunday night. Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore and company should have no problems marching down the field against a horrific run defense and scoring at will. Meanwhile, with star receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery banged up, the Bears will have little success on offense. Sorry Bears fans, but this one will be a blowout.

The Bears offense put up almost 500 yards last week, yet they are still the topic of criticism. I think that the offense protects the football better this week and has no problem moving the football on the shorthanded 49ers defense. That being said, you cannot win in the NFL if your defensive tackles and linebackers can’t plug holes or get off of blocks. The Bears lose in a close shootout and once again, the Bears have issues stopping the run. Paea, Ratliff, Allen, Houston, Briggs, Williams, McClellin – I’m challenging you to prove me wrong.

After last week there is plenty of angst with the defense and the offense. It was painful all around. However, I feel the Bears will play much better than last week and do just enough to pull out the win in the last few minutes of the game.

Kaeparnick is lucky to open the season against two bad defenses. He runs all over the Bears and the Chicago offense can’t get much going.
