Wide Receivers

More from Bears Fantasy Football

Only Randall Cobb scored in the top 15 among wideouts in both Week One and Week Two… After little production in Week One, Dez Bryant came to play in Tennessee… With A.J. Green and Marvin Jones out, Mohammed Sanu stepped up for the Bengals. Look for his success to continue if the injuries linger.

Sammy Watkins showed why the Bills traded two first round picks to draft him. He was the only rookie to score double digit fantasy points in Week Two after three put up over 15 in Week One…  NFC North receivers proved dominant yet again with Brandon Marshall, Jordy Nelson, and Cobb finishing atop the point standings, though Calvin Johnson made little impact (28 points in Week One).

Injuries:

A.J. Green (Left the game early with turf toe, not expected to be a long-term injury)

Eric Decker (left the game during the forth quarter, hamstring injury)

Desean Jackson (suffered a AC joint sprain in the first quarter, considered day-to-day)

Tavon Austin (did not return after rain delay, knee injury)

Allen Hurns (injured in the closing minutes of the Redskins game, carried off the field with a sprained left ankle)

Tight Ends:

Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham, two of the most decorated tight ends in fantasy football history, finished atop the scoring standings in Week Two. Followed by little known Delanie Walker (owned in 63% of Yahoo! leagues), Niles Paul (3%), Owen Daniels (12%), and Marcedes Lewis (5%)… Walker, Martellus Bennett, and Julius Thomas are the only tight ends that scored in each of the first two weeks of 2014.

Injuries:

Vernon Davis (ruled out during second half, ankle injury)

Marcedes Lewis (left during third quarter, ankle injury)
