NFC North Weekend Recap: Packers, Bears Rebound
By Tooch
Vikings
With Adrian Peterson deactivated, the Vikings offense struggled and were blown out by the Patriots 30-7 on Sunday. Quarterback Matt Cassel threw four interceptions in the game while the running game, without Peterson, mustered up just 54 yards on the ground. The Vikings have since allowed Peterson to rejoin the team and, assuming that the NFL does not suspend him anytime soon, he should help spark some life back into the Minnesota offense. The Vikings defense remains suspect though and in a division with so many offensive weapons, Minnesota will need to find a way to compete with its division foes.
