Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall see Bears jersey sales take a dip
By Jack Crosby
This past Sunday night the Chicago Bears gained themselves one of the signature wins of the weekend when they came all the way back to defeat the San Francisco 49ers on the road. It was a much needed win after a crushing opening week loss. However, one department that they’re still not winning in is the sales of the jerseys tied to two of the top stars on the team.

According to the latest DICK’S Sporting Goods Jersey Report that was released, which reflects jersey sales nationwide and online, both Cutler and Marshall’s sales took a tumble for the week.
Marshall’s jersey sales slipped 12 spots for the week, coming in at the no. 17 slot. Although, after his strong, three-touchdown performance in the win against the 49ers, it’ll be interesting to see what this number looks like next week, now that’s he slowly back to establishing himself as one of the top receivers in the game.
Cutler fell 17 spots to no. 25 overall. But again, much like Marshall, Cutler putting on an amazing national television performance in the second half of that game could begin to swing these sales numbers in an upward direction once again.
