My record may be 0-2, but the Bears are where I expected them to be at 1-1. I just thought it would have been the opposite, beating the Bills and losing to the 49ers. Looking back, maybe this is better. The Jets know how to stop the run, but they can’t stop the pass. It’s going to be a tough matchup if the Jets can put pressure on Cutler. Bears come out ahead.

Coming off their surprising come-from-behind victory against the Niners, the Bears will keep the momentum going and pick up a win against the Jets. The Bears’ pass rushers will help force Geno Smith into some much-needed turnovers while Jay Cutler and company will utilize a successful passing attack en route to victory.

The Bears did something that we haven’t seen in a while on Sunday. Yes, they won in San Fran, but they also created turnovers and didn’t turn the ball over. The Jets are -2 in the takeaway/giveaway differential, while the Bears come in at +2. Look for the momentum to continue into Monday night. Similar to the Bills, the Jets run the ball extremely well which will keep this game close, as I’m still not sold that the Monsters of the Midway have returned just yet. The impressive front 4 of the Jet defense will prolong the Bear run game struggles as well. That being said, da Bears just have too many playmakers on offense and are too much for the depleted Jets secondary. Jets keep it very close, but the Bears move to 2-1.

After watching Cutler throw for four touchdowns on San Francisco last week, I expect a big game from the Bears quarterback against a Jets defense that has struggled to defend the pass this season.
