The Vikings 20-9 loss to the Saints on Sunday put an exclamation point on a rough week for the Vikings. First, they announced that their star running back would play, then later changed their course and said Peterson would be leaving the team indefinitely. This came after an influx of criticism from their fans and supporters. Then they lost their starting quarterback as Matt Cassel was carted off the field in the second quarter. Rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater relieved Cassel and went 12 for 20 for 150 yards with 0 tds and 0 interceptions.

After a big opening day victory, the last 2 weeks have been very forgettable for the Vikes and their fans – I don’t really feel that bad though.
