It’s Bears vs Packers for the 189th time in the history of the rivalry. The Packers head into Soldier Field riding a 4-game winning streak in Chicago. But the Packers limp in with a 1-2 record and 0-2 in the conference. A win by the Bears could send the Packers into a tailspin and give the Bears a little early season cushion in the division race. A win by the Packers could undo two hard-fought road wins by the Bears and tighten the division race back up. Whenever these teams get together, it’s almost always memorable. Let’s see what our staff thinks about the outcome of this game:

A desperate Packers team is a scary Packers team. Aaron Rodgers is telling everyone to R-E-L-A-X but honestly, I think he’s the one who’s panicking on the inside. Rodgers’ line is swiss cheese and some of his favorite receivers headed out of town for more cheddar. They haven’t been able to find a tight end to fill Jermichael Finley’s role.
For the Bears, they’ve shown the defense is improved and Cutler has been mostly on point. Look for Martellus Bennett to be an X-factor in the red zone again.
Bears 27 – Packers 24
Mike Flannery (1-2)
An improving Bears defense manages to slow Rodgers and the Pack down just enough for the Bears to win a close one on a late Robbie Gould FG.
