The Vikings appeared to have found their new quarterback last weekend with rookie Teddy Bridgewater, who threw for 317 yards and rushed for a touchdown during Minnesota’s 41-28 victory over the Falcons. Bridgewater, who started in place of the injured Matt Cassell, suffered an ankle injury in the victory and is questionable for this weekend’s game against the Packers. However, despite a slew of injuries and the loss of star running back Adrian Peterson, the Vikings remain in contention in the NFC North. They will eventually need to find more creative ways to get receiver Cordarelle Patterson more involved in the offense if they hope to keep opponents on their toes for the remainder of the season. Up next for the Vikings is a surging Packers team on Thursday night that should have an easy time putting up big points on the scoreboard. It won’t be easy for the Vikings to stay 2-2 for long.
