The good news for the Lions? Their defense has been undoubtedly one of the most dominant in the league to start the season. The bad news? Calvin Johnson is hurt again, the running game is non-existent and the team has been forced to look for a new kicker. The Lions fell to the Bills at home last Sunday 17-14 after former kicker Alex Henery missed three field goal attempts in the game. With Joique Bell injured and Reggie Bush struggling, the Lions turned to rookie George Winn, who contributed 48 rushing yards of the team’s 69 total rushing yards. The Lions will need to re-establish themselves in the running game, get Johnson healthy and a sign a respectable kicker if they hope to keep pace in the division.
