Bears vs Falcons: Keys to a Chicago Bears Victory

It’s Week 6 and it’s the Bears vs Falcons to face off in a battle of 2-3 NFC wannabe contenders. The loser of this game slides to 2-4 and faces the daunting task of trying to recover and make a postseason push from 2 games under .500 and down a couple of tiebreakers. Needless to say, it’s an important game for both teams. Let’s take a look at my Keys to a Chicago Bears Victory:

The Falcons are especially motivated to get a win as it’s their only game in the Georgia Dome for over a month. Their next “home” game after playing the Bears will be in London and after their bye and another couple of road games, they finally get their next home game on November 23rd, just in time to start thawing the Thanksgiving birds.
The Falcons are 2-0 at home, scoring a whopping 46.5 PPG while they’re an unimpressive 0-3 on the road. Meanwhile, the Bears’ lone wins have come on the road and frankly they should be 3-0 away from Soldier Field after a second half collapse last week in Carolina. With an onslaught of Bears fans set to invade the Georgia Dome, your truly included, hopefully it’s not too hard for the Bears to make the Falcons forget they’re at home.
