Even without starters Reggie Bush and Calvin Johnson, the Lions cruised to a 17-3 victory against the Vikings on Sunday. Joique Bell led the rushing attack with 74 yards and a touchdown while fellow running back Theo Riddick led the Lions in receiving yards with 75 yards and a score of his own. The Detroit defense simply manhandled Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, racking up eight sacks in the game along with three interceptions. With the win, the Lions managed to keep pace with the Packers in the division but will now anxiously await an injury update on Johnson. The Lions will host the Saints next weekend, who are coming off a bye and have struggled mightily so far this season.
