Fantasy Football Week 7: Start’em / Sit’em

Sit’em

QB

Matt Ryan @BAL (79%, 17) – He’s played well, but the Falcons O-line is an absolute mess. Gabe Carimi is starting at RT! The Ravens pass rush should have no trouble getting to Ryan and it could be a rough game for him. If you have a better option (Cutler, Wilson, Romo) use him this week.

Ben Roethlisberger HOU (20%, 17) – Looked awful last week against a bad Brown defense. JJ Watt and the Texans could make things miserable for Roethlisberger Sunday and I’m not starting him in any format.

Eli Manning @DAL (18%, 15) – Coming off an awful game last week and playing without his #1 WR Victor Cruz against what has been the 3rd best fantasy D vs QBs.

RB

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Lamar Miller @CHI (58%, 14) – The Bears once laughable run defense has held opponents under 100 yards rushing for three weeks in a row and last week held the Falcons under 50 yards (42). Miller has been good lately, but I think this week he disappoints. He could come close to 10 points this week, but I think that’s his ceiling. Yes, I know this is a homer pick.

Joique Bell NO (55%, 14) – With Reggie Bush back this week, Bell goes back to a back-up role and I don’t think he will get enough touches to reach his projected point total.

Zac Stacy SEA (38%, 10) – The Rams have been splitting carries between 3 RBs and none of them are getting enough touches to deserve a starting spot.

Steven Jackson @BAL (35%, 9) – Looks slower than ever and is going to lose carries to the emerging Antone Smith and rookie Devonta Freeman. No longer a fantasy starter and barely rosterable.

Jerick McKinnon @BUF (24%, 11) – The Bills are giving up the least amount of fantasy points to opposing RBs and the Vikings are talking about an even split between McKinnon and Matt Asiata. McKinnon will be worth starting soon, but not this week.
