It is already week 7 of the NFL season and the Bears are sitting at .500 in the most unexpected of ways. Losing the home opener, winning on the road 3 out of 4 games and losing their only other home game to the Packers. If you would have asked me before the season started if it would be okay if the Bears were 3-3 after 6 games, I would have said yes. I know I was not a happy fan when the Bears lost to the Bills, and I was extremely pissed when they lost to the Packers. But it was the loss to the Panthers that made me lose faith in the Bears. It looked like they just gave up in the second half of the Panthers game. It was a pathetic performance. Because of their crappy performance, I expected the Bears to get stomped by the Falcons last Sunday. The Bears play a very similar defense to the Bucs who gave up 56 points to Atlanta in the Georgia Dome. But then the Bears did the unexpected and embarrassed the Falcons on their home field. Even better was the stadium was filled with Bears fans. Let us hope that the Bears keep the momentum going this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

It’s Bears vs. Dolphins time and this week we had a chance to talk some smack with Brian Miller from the Miami Dolphins fansided site Phin Phanatic.

Before we start this week’s edition of talking smack, can you tell our readers a little something about yourself?

"My name is Brian Miller and I am the first person hired by FanSided. I am the only editor to ever cover the Dolphins for the network and have won nine awards from the Dolphins in the last 7 and a half years. I served as the first Director of NFL sites for the network as well. In addition to my amateur status as a know it all but not really blogger I have been a paramedic for 14 years. I don’t live in Miami but in North Carolina which makes reporting on the Dolphins a bit tricky but I have managed to make it work…sometimes."

Okay Brian. What the heck happened on Sunday? Myself and thousands of Bears fans were huge Dolphins fans for 58 minutes and then poof. We want your coach fired as much as you probably do. Seriously, if the Bears can’t beat Green Bay, we are counting on other teams to do it for us. What happened?

"Well tney never said Bears fans were smart, I mean did you forget that Joe Philbin is great friends with McArthy and Rodgers? There was no way they were going to let Green Bay lose, why else would they call a timeout defensively on 4th and 10? No fear though, the Pack gave Philbin input on how to beat Da Bears! Not that Philbin can figure out what he was told."
