Passing Offense: D

After putting together a masterful performance in Week 6, Jay Cutler was anything but that against the Dolphins. He completed 21 of 34 passes for 190 yards and one touchdown, finishing with a quarterback rating of 74.4. Of course, as is the case in many of Chicago’s losses this season, he also turned the ball over multiple times.

In the second quarter, he threw an interception that resulted in a Miami touchdown. And in the fourth quarter, he fumbled the ball, which led to three more points for the Dolphins. But while Cutler’s play left a lot to be desired, the offense overall was bad to say the least.

The unit did not record a first down until the second quarter and did not score a single point the first half while accumulating just 54 yards. Brandon Marshall’s postgame rant included the use of the word “unacceptable” numerous times. And that is exactly what this loss was…..unacceptable.
