The Dolphins totaled 137 rushing yards on 33 attempts for an average of 4.2 yards per carry. Lamar Miller led the Dolphins’ ground game with 61 yards on 18 carries and one touchdown.
However, Ryan Tannehill did the most damage, rushing for 48 yards on six carries. And on a key fourth-and-one situation in the third quarter, he managed to escape the pocket and rush for 30 yards, which set up a touchdown a few plays later.
That sequence not only sums up Chicago’s inability to get off the field, it also allowed the Dolphins to put the game out of reach.
