Special Teams: B

The one unit that has been maligned for its mediocre play during the season is special teams. But that would not be the case against the Dolphins.

In fact, this unit was one of the few bright spots from this game. Chris Williams returned two kickoffs for a total of 75 yards. Punter Pat O’Donnell averaged over 53 yards on three kicks and Lamarr Houston blocked a field goal attempt.

The only big play this unit gave up was 31-yard return by Jarvis Landry. Otherwise, special teams was the saving grace for a team that struggled in just about every area.
