The top five defenses of 2013 were the Chiefs, Seahawks, Panthers, Cardinals, and Bengals. Not one of these teams have repeated their performance of a season ago, with Arizona ranking the highest of the five (15th ranked fantasy defense of 2014). The others rank outside the top 20 with Kansas City at 23, Carolina at 24, Cincinnati at 25, and most surprising of all, Seattle ranked 28th in fantasy defense in 2014. It’s time to forget about 2013 as far as fantasy football defenses go.
