Fantasy Football Week 8: Start’em / Sit’em

WR
Percy Harvin @BUF (43%,11) – I am curious to see how Harvin does with the Jets, but am going to wait and see how much he is involved in the offense before I put him in my starting lineup. He’s dealing with a wildly inconsistent Geno Smith and may not know enough of the playbook to be a factor in his first game with the team.
Kendall Wright HOU (42%, 12) – Do you trust Zach Mettenberger at QB?
Brandin Cooks GB (35% ,12) – I don’t know why the Saints aren’t getting Cooks the ball more often. His 2 catch, 3 target game last week (despite a limited Jimmy Graham) was enough for me to take Cooks out of all my lineups this week. I can’t justify risking a starting spot on a guy who clearly isn’t a top target for QB Drew Brees.
Cecil Shorts III MIA (21% ,13) – Too inconsistent for my taste. Shorts followed up a 10 catch, 103 yard game with a 3 catch, 12 yard dud last week. If you are set on starting a Jags receiver, go with rookie Allen Robinson.

Martellus Bennett @NE (66%, 12) – Dealing with a hamstring issue and has had three disappointing games in a row. I hope he snaps out of it, but he’s had trouble getting separation the last few weeks.
Delanie Walker HOU (49%,11) – I’m benching all Titan receivers until I see what Mettenberger can do. The alternative is Charlie Whitehurst, so it’s really a lose / lose if Mettenberger struggles. He has a big arm, so hopefully Mettenberger is decent and salvages some fantasy value for Walker, Wright, and Hunter.
