Welcome to Week 8’s Behind Enemy Lines – Bears Patriots Game Preview.  Each week, we are going into enemy territory and hostile ground to see what our opponent’s websites are saying. Most of us know what our local sportscasters, bloggers, etc. are saying, but what about our enemy’s sites? Before stepping on the field of battle, or sitting on our couches in other words, it’s always entertaining to see how the opponents view the match up with our beloved Chicago Bears. It’s even more entertaining to poke holes in their assessments.

After reading through these sites and several others for this week’s opponent, there are a few conclusions that I have come to based off of their local fan and media reactions:

1. New England media and fans seem to be taking this game pretty lightly seeing that I have not observed one prediction in the Bears favor.

2. If the Patriots contain Matt Forte, they will win (there’s little fear that Jay Cutler can beat them).

3. There’s a lot of confidence in New England that their secondary can contain Marshall and Jeffrey.
