Passing Offense: C-

If you look at Jay Cutler’s stats from this game, on the surface, it appears that he had a decent outing. He completed 20 of 30 passes for 227 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Like I said, pretty decent numbers, right?

Well, the bad news is that the passing game was not in sync in the first half. In fact, Cutler threw for just 66 yards compared to 203 yards for Tom Brady.

And although Cutler did throw a pair of touchdowns in the second half, the game was so far out of reach that his production had little impact with regards to the final outcome. Throw in the fact that Cutler was sacked three times and lost another fumble, and it is easy to determine why the Bears received a low grade in this category.
