WR

Julian Edelman, DEN (75%, 15) – Only has 1 game with over 50 yards receiving over the last five. With Gronk healthy and the emergence of Brandon LaFell, I’m just not confident there will be enough targets for Edelman to be worth a spot in your starting lineup.

Michael Floyd, @DAL (72%, 11) – Floyd is currently 4th on the Cardinals in targets and has fallen behind rookie John Brown as the Cards primary deep threat. After being burned by last week’s ZERO, I am staying away until I see more targets going Floyd’s way.

Pierre Garcon, @MIN (69%, 10) – Is only averaging 5 targets per game over the last 5 weeks. That just isn’t enough for a possession receiver like Garcon to put up numbers worthy of a spot in your starting lineups. At best Garcon is a WR3/Flex start right now. I’m hoping RG3 brings Garcon back into my starting lineup on a weekly basis, but I need to see RG3 play well before I trust Garcon or D-Jax.

Torrey Smith, PIT (57%, 11) – Boom or bust player who has mostly busted this season. His ZERO fantasy points last week on just 2 targets have me close to dropping him from my roster completely.

Reggie Wayne @NYJ (24%, 11) – Struggling with an elbow injury, but should play this Monday night. I think the Colts will be cautious with his playing time for health reasons and for an excuse to get rookie Donte Moncrief on the field more.

Cecil Shorts @CIN (23%, 12) – Has 1 game with over 100 receiving yards, but was held under 45 receiving yards in the 4 other games he played. Jacksonville isn’t a good enough offense to support two fantasy WRs and rookie Allen Robinson is clearly Bortles #1 target. I dropped Shorts in two leagues this week.

TE

Jared Cook, @SF (18%, 10) – Has yet to score a TD this year and I don’t think this will be the week against a tough Niners defense.
