I covered the more high profile cuts in part 1 and in part 2 I will cover some players still clinging to rosters in the 25%-50% ownership range that should be cut for players with much higher 2nd half upside. Every roster spot is important once the fantasy playoffs start and now is the time to optimize your roster by replacing dead weight with high upside players for the home stretch.

Cut List (Part 2)
Montee Ball, Broncos* (67%) – Ronnie Hillman took over for Ball when he got hurt and was been a much better fit for the Broncos offense with three consecutive 100 yards games since taking over. I can’t see the Broncos giving Ball his job back since he was struggling anyway before the injury.
Chris Johnson, Jets (50%) – Is averaging just over 6 carries per game over the last 5 weeks and with the addition of Percy Harvin, Johnson is redundant and should continue to be fazed out of the offensive game plan.
Cecil Shorts, Jags (49%) – Has 1 good game this year and under 45 receiving yards in his other 4 starts. With Allen Robinson the clear #1 WR for the Jags, there isn’t enough targets available for Shorts to deserve a spot on your roster.
Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs (47%) – Remember when Bowe was good? It was three years ago. Drop him.
Justin Hunter, Titans (46%) – A popular breakout candidate who has been inconsistent all year and should be worse with rookie QB Zach Mettenberger under center the rest of the season.
Jonathan Stewart, Panthers (38%) – Splitting carries with DeAngelo Williams and Cam Newton the rest of the way. No thanks.
