1. Turnovers

I was going to just give this to Jay Cutler, as he’s the leader in turnovers, but others have contributed their fair share.  Cutler set the tone for the season with a pair of “what is he doing?” interceptions in the Bears Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills.  Ball security has been a major issue for Cutler throughout his career, but that’s what Marc Trestman was supposed to help fix.  As if the 8 interceptions weren’t bad enough, Cutler also has 6 fumbles, 4 of which have been lost,  But it’s not Cutler alone.  Even the reliable Matt Forte had a costly fumble this season.  If the Bears want to turn their horrific season around, they need to take care of that precious ball.
