A lot of Bears fans wanted Phil Emery to take a safety in the first round of last year’s draft. And while that’s still a big need, rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller has proven a lot of skeptics wrong. His three interceptions are tops among rookies. He earned the Defensive Rookie of the Month for September with a strong month including 3 picks and a couple of forced fumbles. Fuller has tapered off in recent weeks, but it’s clear that Fuller has been a treat for the battered Bears secondary.
