My License plate last season
This is my license plate from last season.
Last season was great. We didn’t make the playoffs, but we had a new coach, new system, and our offense was number 2 in scoring. Our defense was terrible, but we found a way to win games. 8 of them.
Okay, maybe it wasn’t so great. I just had never seen the Chicago Bears with that kind of offense. We even beat the Packers in Lambeau! My favorite game was the one against the Cowboys. We scored on every possession. Josh McCown was in at QB for the injured Jay Cutler. It still has a home on my DVR and probably will for a while.

As bad as our record was, we would have made the postseason, if not for Joe Clutch (Aaron Rodgers) throwing a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb, in the last seconds of the game. Chris Conte was the coverage. Poor Chris. I like him. A lot of you do not.
It sucked, but our future was bright.
This year was going to be different.
