NFC North Defensive MVP: Ndamukong Suh, Detroit Lions

This was another easy one. Suh is hands down one of the most dominant and intimidating defensive players in the NFC North, and the entire league as well. He is the leader of a Lions defensive unit that is number one in the league in total defense and has yielded a measly 74 rushing yards per game. While the Lions’ offense has been inconsistent at times, the defense remains steady and has helped Detroit to an NFC North-leading 6-2 record so far this season. Suh is the single most important player on the Lions defense and is well on his way to another Pro Bowl nomination.

Honorable Mention: Everson Griffen, Minnesota Vikings
