Mandatory Credit: Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Sports You actually took it easy on me there and left out the fact that the Packers are the worst team in the NFL versus the run. With it being election day, I think it is safe to say John Elway could win an election over Dom Capers in Green Bay right now. It appears the recipe for disaster was losing our big guys up front. With a small defensive line coupled with a poor inside line backing core, teams have ran absolutely wild. Matt Forte is a beast for sure and it showed in week four when the Bears went away from him. I do have to say thank you for the ‘washed-up’ Julius Peppers. If I had to handout a team defensive MVP award today he would be the recipient. Speaking of old and washed up, has that calf rope dry rotted or what? Maybe my computer needs an update but it says Jared Allen has 1.5 sacks on the season and missed a game due to an illness? What gives, maybe you can sue the Vikings for the ‘Lemon Law’?"
The Vikings have enough problems of their own. Their lawyers are probably a little busy trying to figure out how to get Adrian Peterson back on the football field. Sacks are over rated according to Bears General Manager Phil Emery. It’s all about quarterback hurries and pressures… Sorry, if you could see my face right now, it would not be straight. Who doesn’t value sacks? Allen did miss the last game against the Packers, so this should be interesting on Sunday night. He is itching to wreck some havoc on the Packers offensive line. Too bad it seems that he has lost a step or five. That’s okay, at least he is a leader in the locker room. Or is he? I don’t even know who is leading the Bears right now. I guess Marc Testman. Darn it, my anger at my own team is distracting me of the hatred for your team. Do you think Capers is on the coaches hot seat yet?
"I thought it would take four or five weeks for this defense to gel. With the addition Of Julius Peppers and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, along with shifting Micah Hyde to safety and the loss of BJ Raji, it appears to be more than a grace period is needed. Ted Thompson may be the greatest offensive talent scout in the NFL, but he has missed the boat several times on the defensive side of the ball. The Capers’ situation frustrates me because, yes he is setting on a seat of cherry red coals right now. Tackling is taught in the third grade however. It often appears the players are in position but simply just fail to bring the ball carrier down. It looks like we will have McCarthy for an extended period of time and it could be the only head coach Aaron Rodgers ever plays for. Do you think Marc Trestman is the head coach of the Chicago Bears next season if things continue the way they are and at what point do the Bears bring in a serious competitor for Jay Cutler?"
