Each week, we are going into enemy territory and hostile ground to see what our opponent’s websites are saying. Most of us know what our local sportscasters, bloggers, etc. are saying, but what about our enemy’s sites? Before stepping on the field of battle, or sitting on our couches in other words, it’s always entertaining to see how the opponents view the match up with our beloved Chicago Bears. It’s even more entertaining to poke holes in their assessments. This week: Bears. Pack. Lambeau Field.

So, lets start at a national level and CBSSports.com, where there’s not much surprise here:

So what are the local Green Bay media and bloggers saying?

Looking at our sister Fansided site, Lombardi Ave, there’s cautious optimism:

"No matter if the opponent is the Bears or the Buccaneers the Packers will only be as successful as their run defense and with that their willingness to tackle."

On chesseheadtv.com, a local Packer blog site, it’s no secret what the Bears want and need to do to win the game:

"In the first meeting, the Packers were content giving up chunks of yardage on the ground to Matt Forte. The result was 235 rushing yards but only 17 points for the Bears. Can Green Bay survive another rushing onslaught this time around? The Bears will almost certainly pound Forte, in an attempt to replicate the plan New Orleans successfully accomplished against Green Bay before the bye: run the ball, control the tempo and hit big plays down field off play action. Balance has been a buzz word out of Halas Hall all week. The Packers probably won’t feel comfortable getting the sweep if Chicago rushes for 200-plus yards Sunday night. It’s simply not a typical winning recipe."
