1. I Wish I Knew How to Quit You

I’ll be the first to admit, my relationship with the Chicago Bears is dysfunctional.  At my deepest core, I love the Chicago Bears.  I bleed orange and blue.  One of my closest friends said it best, “If you had an afflicted child, would you love him any less.”  The 2014 are my afflicted child.  I don’t love them any less.  Each week, I’ll rationalize a way for the Bears come up with a win.

“If they can get the running game going, I like their chances.”

“If the defense can get a couple of turnovers, maybe we could eek out a win.”

“Lovie’s coming to town.”

You know you do it too.  The Bears drive you crazy and you’re mad as hell at them for blowing yet another season, but you still love them.  You wish you could quit them, but you can’t.

If you just can’t stomach the games each week, don’t worry, I’ll watch so you don’t have to.  Our team of dedicated, yet slightly crazy, writers will be here too.  We’ll keep you in the loop.  As always…

BEAR DOWN!!!
