With the Bears being outscored 90-7 in the first half of the last two contests, the running game was an afterthought. And when you have one of the most versatile backs in the league, you have to find ways to get him the ball.

The Bears were finally able to bring this notion to fruition as Forte rushed for 117 yards on 26 carries for an average of 4.5 yards per attempt. Of course, with Cutler attempting 43 passes, there is still room for improvement in regards to using a balanced attack to keep opposing defenses honest.

And if the Bears want to win a majority of their remaining games, they will need to continue giving the ball to Forte 25-30 times.
