Jared Allen finally decided to show up for the Bears on Sunday, recording a sack, five tackles and three quarterback hits. Allen and the rest of the Bears defense limited the Vikings to 243 total yards of offense en route to a 21-13 victory. Jay Cutler guided the Bears offense to 468 total yards, including 330 passing yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Brandon Marshall. Marshall finished the day with 90 yards receiving and the two scores, while Alshon Jeffery racked up 11 catches for 135 yards and a touchdown of his own. Not to be outdone, Matt Forte tallied 117 rushing yards and 58 receiving yards for the day. The win helped the Bears get back on track and out of the losing column, at least for one week. They’ll host Tampa Bay this Sunday and hope to keep the winning streak going, but it’s likely all for naught this season.
