WR

DeSean Jackson, @SF (65%, 11) – RG3 looked awful last week against a Bucs D giving up the 4th most passing yards in the league. I just don’t see him connecting with D-Jax on a deep ball this week against a defense giving up the 4th fewest passing yards this season and getting healthier by the week.

Julian Edelman, DET (64%, 13) – The Lions secondary has played very well this year especially in the slot where Edelman does his business.

Sammy Watkins, NYJ (63%, 13) – If he were 100% healthy I would start him in any circumstances, I think Watkins is that talented. Unfortunately he’s banged up (groin), playing in awful weather conditions (blizzard), and QB Kyle Orton has sucked lately. Watkins only has 59 receiving yards combined in his last two games. If you have a safer option use him.

Larry Fitzgerald, @SEA (44%, 9) – It’s not a great match-up for Fitz. In his last three games against the Seahawks Fitz has 6 catches for 37 yards total and no TDs. That averages out to 2 catches for 12 yards per game. You could say he’s due if you want, but I am staying away from Fitz this week.

Mohammed Sanu, @HOU (42%, 12) – The return of A.J. Green and regression of Andy Dalton has pretty much sapped Sanu’s fantasy value.

Pierre Garcon, @SF (33%, 9) – WTF happened to this guy? How do you go from being a 100+ catch receiver to an after thought. Last week’s match-up vs the Bucs was my tipping point on Garcon. Going against a bad secondary at home, Garcon was held to 1 catch for 6 yards and had just 68 yards combined over his last three games. He’s no longer own-able much less start-able. This is almost the same exact thing I wrote about Michael Floyd last week and he had 2 catches for 2 TDs, so who really knows anything.

Eric Decker, @BUF (21%, 11) – Michael Vick in a blizzard? No thanks.

TE

Martellus Bennett, TB (65%, 12) – Only 6 catches for 74 yards over the last two games and looks to have lost some of the quickness and explosion from earlier in the season. I’m hoping for the reverse jinx here.

Vernon Davis, WAS (42%, 8) – Drop him. If you have been watching any Niners games at all this season, you probably noticed that Davis doesn’t look anything like the player who has made multiple Pro Bowls. Over the last 4 games VD has 6 catches for 55 yards total and hasn’t scored a TD since week 1. He’s not even worth owning.
