Dallas Cowboys (8-4)
The Dallas Cowboys come to town after a disappointing home loss to the NFC East leading Philadelphia on Thanksgiving. If the playoffs started today, the 8-4 Cowboys would be on the outside looking in on January football. The Cowboys trail the 9-3 Eagles by a full game for the division and lose the tie-breaker to the 8-4 Seahawks and 8-4 Lions by virtue of their respective conference records.
Besides the Bears, the Cowboys still have road division games against the Eagles and Redskins and a home date against the Colts. The good news for Dallas is they are 5-0 on the road this season. The bad news? They’re accustomed to late-season collapses and all of the ingredients are there for another disappointing finish after a strong start for the ‘Boys.
