Oakman is a massive human being. Seriously. 6’9, 280. He’s also an absolute force at the defensive end position. Constantly pushing the pocket and using his massive arms to bat down balls. Oakman possesses deceptively quick feet for a player his size. He uses his size to overpower defenders and take over games. He’s a bit inconsistent, but with good coaching, he has the potential to develop into an elite pass rusher. Had some off the field issues which led to his dismissal from Penn State, but has since kept his nose clean at Baylor.

Oakman’s stock continues to rise, and he should be available in the 8-12 range. I think he’d be an excellent addition to the Bears.
