A versatile and active defensive end, Fowler played the same role that Brian Orakpo played when Will Muschamp was the defensive coordinator at Texas. More of a 3-4 pass rusher. Has a knack for getting to the quarterback, but needs needs to improve on play recognition. Has the same qualities that Phil Emery appreciates in a player: Versatile (Fowler saw time at outside linebacker as well) and athletic.
